Vesselin Trendagilov, Ivan Penov, Stefan Hristov and our partner from Yambol – Foundation „Bolni ot astma“ we visited several towns where we assessed proposals for initiatives.
The first place we visited was the village of Stefan Karadjovo, where we considered a proposal for purchasing a yard for the construction of two greenhouses from Donka Ivanova. The plot had an area of 1800 m2, with a massive residential building on two floors, a well, a barn and a few orchards. The price of the plot was 5000 lv. The applicant was single, first year in the University of Stara Zagora. Her main income was the welfare benefits on the amount of 180 lv. per month At the moment Mrs. Ivanova had another plot where she grew cabbage with the help of her parents. The applicant’s brother worked abroad. We examined the plot to be purchased. We took soil samples for the determination of soil quality. The analysis showed good nutrient reserves. The plot was suitable. Subsequent actions that needed to be taken to review the surrounding properties because many of them were deserted then see which the most advantageous proposal was.
The next proposal concerned the purchase of a plot in v. Saransko. The applicant would like to purchase a plot where a family member to raise animals. We viewed two adjacent properties. Both were 2 dka each. In one of the properties was built a massive residential on two floors and a well. Both properties were good, but the applicant should decide what would be his activity there, first. Follow up actions for this initiative would be taken on later stage.
On our way we inspected already accomplished initiative for the purchase of equipment for fast food restaurant (sandwiches, hamburgers, coffee, etc.). On the site we examined the purchased equipment – horizontal chill cabinet, counter. The renovation of the room and the building was finished. The opening of the restaurant would be soon.
In the town of Straldja we visited a plot where the applicant from Roma origin intended to build a shed for drying herbs. With the applicant we viewed his first choice of plot. The plot was nearby to the fast food restaurant from the above initiative, but was unfenced and the sellers had raised the price. The applicant had found another plot, which we also reviewed. The second plot was with fine fence. The owners of the plot were abroad. The applicant would be responsible to negotiate a fair price for this plot in order to approve that initiative and to purchase the plot.
