Veselin Trendafilov, Mariana Shishkova and Stefan Hristov visited our partner from Rakitovo – Foundation „Budeshte”. Our goal was to check the implemented initiatives, to review the proposal for new initiatives and to review the papers concerning the initiatives of the partner.

We checked the initiative “Purchase of food store equipment”. The store was well furnished with the supplied equipment and well stocked. According to the wife of the participant store currently works well and they will research to expand the assortment.

We reviewed a proposal for initiatives from family Milevi that were beneficiary to another initiative ‘Purchase of vacuum pump and milking machine F200”. They almost had paid the installments and now were proposing to be fund for the purchase of solar collectors for hot water. Raising cows was good, they sold the milk very successfully in Rakitovo and even found difficulties to meet the demand. The hot water would be used for cow irrigation as well for hygiene maintenance of the farm. We assessed the proposal as good and gave recommendation to the partner to start the initiative as gathering quotations.

The next initiative we checked was “Purchase of equipment for food store”. The equipment was put in operation. Only the oven wasn’t ready due to the fact that its power is three phase and the beneficiary was waiting for the power company to do supply it. The beneficiary was pleased with the supplied equipment and shared that it would be most helpful for them.

 We reviewed another two proposals for the purchase of building materials for mobile fast food restaurant and the purchase of land for tourist purpose.
