A team of experts (Dimitar Georgiev, Stefan Hristov and Rosica Emilova) conducted analyses of the chemical compositions of soil in three properties in the region of Perushtica. The first field was vineyard, the second – cherry orchard, and the third – fallow (after tomato cultivation). All the properties were managed by long time participant in the Foundation. The samples of the soil were analyzed through standard methods for determining the content of Ammonium (NH4+ N), Nitrate (NO3– N), Potassium (K+), Phosphate (PO4-P), acidity (pH) and soil activity. The points of sampling were marked and the corresponding protocols for the chemical analyses were filled. The results of the analyses will be used for quality agricultural consultation regarding the use and need of fertilizers.
