PARTNERSHIP – A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AREAS AND FAMILY BUSINESSES IN BULGARIA

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a working round table discussion on the topic “Partnership – A Factor in the Development of Rural Areas and Family Businesses in Bulgaria”.
The round table will take place on Thursday, 12 November 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 3206, Building 3 of the Technical University of Sofia – Plovdiv Branch, 8 Tsanko Dyustabanov Street, with the entrance from Krastyo Pastukhov Street.
The event is organized by the Department of Industrial Management at the Technical University of Sofia – Plovdiv Branch, the Land Source of Income Foundation – Plovdiv, and the Faculty of Economics at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv.
The event is funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation as part of a three-year project launched in March 2024.
The round table will focus on the current state of small businesses in rural areas. Discussions will also address opportunities for supporting these businesses, as well as the role of municipalities, government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and educational and research institutions in this process.
As is customary, the round table is held under the patronage of the Plovdiv Regional Administration. This year’s event is also dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Department of Industrial Management at the Technical University of Sofia – Plovdiv Branch.
