On December 2nd and 3rd, 2015 a representative of the Land – Source of income Foundation took part in a training on fund raising for NGOs from individual and corporate donors. The training was organized by the Bulgarian Center for not-for-profit law and carried out in Parkhotel Vitosha, Sofia.

The training was provided by staff of the Bulgarian center for not-for profit law, Bulgarian Donors’ Forum, Time Heroes, in cooperation with lecturers from the Czech Fundraising Center.

The main topics covered in the training were as follows:

• Preparingf a „case for support”;
• Making contacts and partnering with corporate donors when fundraising;
• Main methors for fundraising from individual donors;
• Main steps in organizing a fundraising campain targeted at individual donors.

Alongside lectures, the training comprised doing practical tasks and role play targeted at reinforcing the acquired knowledge.
