During AGRA exhibition the Land Source of Income foundation took part in a round table organized in partnership with the District Administation of Plovdiv.
This year’s round table took place on March 7 and its topic was Opportunities and Perspectives for Small Farm Development in Bulgaria. The following main issues were discussed:
- Land – Source of Income Foundation’s activities in support of small farming in 2011;

- Branch problems of small farmers and prospective development of small farming:

The meeting was opened by a representative of the District Governor’s Administration in Plovdiv. The issues, opportunities and perspectives of small farming were presented by experts working on the team of Land – Source of Income Foundation, representatives of the University of Agriculture in Plovdiv, and the Institute of Fruit-growing in Plovdiv.
Both the participation of LSoI Foundation in AGRA 2011 and the organization of the round table were financed by America for Bulgaria Foundation within the framework of the project Roma Income Generation and Integration.
