Between July and October 2015 representatives of the Land – Source of Income Foundation – Mariana Shishkova and Stefan Hristov – visited the families of students in the villages of Rozino, Stoletovo, Bogdan and Kliment\u00a0in order to collect data for their enroll them in the Equal Chance: Access to High Education<\/em> Project. <\/span><\/p>\n Students and parents had been consulted on the phone about the eligibility criteria and the necessary documents. Then the LSoI Foundation team visited the families-beneficiaries of the progect last year, as well as other applicants from the village. The team evaluated the social environment, the students’ willingness to study and the necessary support. <\/span><\/p>\n The team believes that\u00a0on-the-spot visits are very important for getting to know the life style and motivation of the applying students and parents, therefore we tried to reach each and every applicant and talk with them and their families.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Clarifications on the project were made. The team talked with students’ parents, guardians and relatives about \u00a0their economic situation and discussed the necessary textbooks and public transportation travel cards which the students are in need of.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \n\t\t
