Project: ‘Entrepreneurship support in rural Plovdiv area’

(2019 – 2022 )

The main project goal is to support entrepreneurship among financially disadvantage rural families by improving the business environment and fostering creation of inclusive market economy.
In order to achieve the project goal three objectives are set:

1. To strengthen entrepreneurship development in Plovdiv area;
2. To stimulate the implementation of innovations for increasing the competitiveness of small businesses;
3. To create an enabling business environment and support a can-do attitude in entrepreneurs.

The project has the following 4 main components of activities:

1. Entrepreneurship development in Plovdiv area;
2. Innovation for small business development;
3. Improving the business environment;
4. Project management.

Project: “Consultations and monitoring of regional partners”

(June 2021 – December 2022)

The main project goal is to upgrade the management skills of the five regional partners to manage a revolving fund for supporting economic initiatives.
The regional partners will receive consultancy support from the Land Source of Income Foundation. The support will be provided both for agricultural initiatives and non-agricultural initiatives that the regional partners plan to support financially or have already supported.
Land Source of Income Foundation will provide fifteen monitoring visits during the project or three per partner.
Two specialized trainings, directly related to the management of the Revolving Funds of the partner organizations will be organized. They will increase the financial and accounting knowledge and skills of the partner organizations.

The regional partners that finance economic initiatives are:

1. Association “New road” – Hayredin;
2. Association “LARGO” – Kyustendil;
3. Foundation “Future” – Rakitovo;
4. Association “World Without Borders” – Stara Zagora;
5. Foundation For Asthma Patients – Yambol

Project: ‘Equal chance: access to high school education’

(2021 – 2022)

The programme is developed and supported by the Social Achievement Trust. It is targeted at providing equal access to education to motivated high-school students who come from low-income families. The support covers travel expenses and textbooks necessary for their regular school attendance. The focus of the programme is on commuting students.

The Land Source of Income Foundation  is a partner in the programme implementation  through supporting students from various high schools in Plovdiv Region.
